Odd e os gigantes do gelo

Em um pequeno vilarejo norueguês castigado por um inverno rigoroso mora Odd, um menino diferente dos demais. Órfão de pai e manco, tratado com indiferença pelos moradores - “Ele sorria até mesmo após o acidente que aleijara sua perna direita”, decide ir para uma cabana de lenhador na floresta para se afastar de tudo.
